justforthehalibut:mabelmoments:bringtheruckuss I was raised loosely Catholic and very liberal, and this pretty much summarizes all of my internal struggle when it comes to religion and politics. I don’t identify with any religion now, and I consider myself an atheist. I can get pretty pissy when it comes to people talking about religion and the bible but really, I don’t have a problem with anything that is attributed to Jesus in the bible. I just hate the red state version of that dude so much that it ruins everything for me. My maternal grandparents are devout Catholics. They go to Mass everyday. They also voted for Obama. And that’s something that keeps me from losing all hope.
